I have Windows 8 and have been using Google Chrome as my browser. On the weekend it stopped working. I uninstalled it and went back to Google for a updated version. Seems Chrome does not have a 64 bit download so I downloaded 32 bit and it seems to work. Is there a better browser that I could use with Windows 8. Just started using this OS 4 months ago?
Joe, the best browser is the browser that meets your needs. Internet Explorer 10 is optimized to work with Windows 8, But Firefox and Google Chrome are both good options as well. I have all three of those browsers on my Windows 8 system because sometimes I come across things that just work better in one browser than the other.
Since all three of these browsers are free, why not try them out and see which one works best for you. You can choose to keep one or all three of them on your system.
