I have Hotmail but I didn’t know this feature (Office Online Apps) was on Outlook for free. I have an old version of Microsoft office I use now. Is there a downside to using Word, Excel and PowerPoint On line with Outlook?
As I wrote in a previous tip, you can use Office Apps for free online with an Outlook.com or other Microsoft account. One downside is that you have to have an Internet connection in order to access the apps and use them. Also, these apps are not as fully functional as the full Microsoft Office Suite.
But for everyday documents and spreadsheets, they work pretty well.
