White House 101 [1]

Welcome to the White House Site for kids of all ages! Introduce your children to Washington with an array of fun facts, activities, games and much, much more! They can learn about the history of the White House, the traditions, even the pets that have lived there.

Clicking on the Our Presidents image opens to a new page, listing all the Presidents in order.

Click on the Fun Facts image, and you will be taken to a page featuring all types of White House and Presidential trivia. For example, the “S” in Harry S. Truman’s name isn’t short for anything. The President was named after both of his grandfathers, Anderson Shippe Truman and Solomon Young. The initial honors them both.

Clicking on the picture of the White House opens a new page, offering an interactive tour, along with many other topics, including, but not limited to, Presidents, First Ladies, The Oval Office, and more.

Across the top of the home page, you will notice a series of buttons. Clicking on those buttons opens submenus, with many other options available that provide additional information.

The Pet section is a lot of fun, you get a lot of neat facts about both the animals and their owners.
