Janice is having an issue with viewing her e-mail. She writes: “I have Win 10, use Windows Live Mail, I open mail, and a lot of times after I have clicked on something to read like your news page,, it will be up front,,, then after a while it goes behind my mail page. why does this happen and is there a fix?”
A couple of things could be at play here. Perhaps you’re accidentally clicking off the browser and that’s causing causing your Live Mail program to jump to the front. It’s also possible that activity in your Live Mail program, such as it automatically checking for e-mail, is causing it to come forward.
Two quick solutions. You could minimize the e-mail client by clicking the little dash in the upper-right corner. Then it shouldn’t go full-screen unless you click it on the taskbar.
Since you have Windows 10, you can also take advantage of the programs ability to “snap” apps. This allows you to display them side-by-side on the same screen. For example, you could make your e-mail a bit smaller and have it share the screen with your browser, making it easier to move back and forth between the programs.
