Microsoft has give a makeover to the Mail app in Windows 10. I’ve heard quite a few complaints about the sparse Mail app in Windows 8 not being very mouse friendly. I think users will like the updates in 10. To me this feels a little more like Outlook or Live Mail.
Let’s take a look at the inbox. It’s still pretty simple looking, but I think it’s more user-friendly than the Windows 8 Mail app. One thing that many users will be glad to know is that it offers POP support.
When you create an e-mail, you’ll notice formatting options that remind you of Outlook or Word.
You even have the ability to insert tables.
When you compare it to the window to compose mail in the 8.1 app, the new app seems more recognizable and easy to navigate.
Access to your folders, contacts and calendar comes from clicking the bar on the left.
Speaking of calendars, I find the one in Windows 10 to be much easier on the eyes that the Windows 8 app.
You can move messages to folders or the trash with just a press and a swipe or a click.
Account settings can be accessed from a panel on the right side.
