Windows 10 – Most Common Questions

There are a two Windows 10 issues I keep getting questions about. I’ve addressed them both before, but since they keep coming in, let me give you links to the previous articles.

1:  Where are the games?  You can find free games galore in the Windows 10 store. Click here to learn how to find, download, and install games like Solitaire and Minesweep.

2:  Start menu issues. A few folks have reported issues getting their Start Menu or Cortana to function properly. Click here for some options that can help take care of that issue.

If you have any questions about Windows 10, please let me know in the comments or go to www.worldstart.com/ask

  1. Bruce Warner says:

Prior to Windows 10, the games were automatically included, free, and ad free. Now they have to be installed, and drenched in data intensive ads and hostile. And, once you’ve played one long enough, it multiplies the number of ads. The “subscription” software for games is garbage at best. The apps have been developed for years. They have been paid for time and again as part of the cost of the OS. This is perhaps the biggest failure of Windows 10.

The games are still free and not all of them have ads. You can find ad-free version of just about every game that was included with Windows 7. Not all games were free. Just the few that came with Windows 7.

These are a great help. I had to re-load Windows 10 and now have to sign on every time I turn my computer on. How can I turn that off? I live alone and no one else uses my computer.
