Windows 7 Hard Drive Icon Info

I don’t use just one computer, so as you can image my settings differ from PC to PC. What I noticed the other day, however, was that I really like seeing how much drive space I have left next to my HDD’s icon. Like this:

Thankfully it’s easy to switch things up with a couple of clicks. So if you want all the details, click the Change Your View button (located off to the upper-right side of the Windows Explorer window)…

…and make sure the slider is set on Tiles.

That’s all there is to it!

This info is quite interesting, at a glance one can know how much space is left on the HDD.
