In the last sentence in this article, a link is included for a download if the MWMSRT didn’t come pre-installed, or if it has been removed. However, you may also consider an upgrade to SP3, which should include the removal tool.

When I type mrt in “run” I am getting a reply that “windows cannot find “mrt”. Make sure you typed the name correctly, and then try again”. Can you kindly explain on this please? I use XP SP 2
