I have long been fascinated by tall buildings. I blame the movie An Affair to Remember with Cary Grant and Deborah Kerr, whose characters meet, fall in love, and then plan to rendezvous at the Empire State Building six months later. The movie fueled my interest in the Empire State building, and from there my curiosity spread to other tall buildings. All in all my fascination with tall buildings is a bit strange considering my fear of heights, but there you have it. I love to look at skyline filled with skyscrapers, domes, and spires!
This site shows you the ten tallest buildings in the world as of 2010. The buildings are organized on a graph by their official height. Use the scroll bar on the bottom of the page to move the page to the right so you can check out all of the skyscrapers.
You can also view the graphs for the World’s Tallest Buildings updated ranking for 2012 by clicking here . And even check upcoming skyscrapers that will be finished in 2015 just by clicking here . Of that listing, I really find the structure of the Makkah Royal Clock Tower Hotel to be interesting. All the other buildings continue the trend of being tall, streamlined, and almost futuristic, whereas the Makkah Royal Clock Tower Hotel has a more vintage design.
Either way this graphs are neat-o! Check them out today!
