I was not expecting to have as much fun on this site as I did. My cousin posted a couple of these Yearbook Yourself photos of herself and her mom. So out of curiosity I decided to try it out.
Then I couldn’t stop, I made one photo after another, and had a great time doing it! It was amazing how different you can make yourself look. You can go back in time to the 50’s and then yearbook yourself all the way to the year 2000.
Of course in order to start you need to have a photo of yourself on your computer or a web cam. You’ll be able to upload it from the Student Photos tab. Once you’ve selected the picture you want you need to use the scale button to make the right size to fit the photos – you can further tweak the size on the actual photos so you get a really good fit. Now you have your picture selected choose whether you want male or female yearbook photos. (Yes I did try both out; for research purpose, laugh factor, and boy did I look dorky as a guy!)
Now you’re in the actual yearbook you can scroll through the years at the bottom with your mouse. Once you’ve found the one you want, click the Adjust/Change button and you can play with scale and positioning till you get it just right!
Now you’ve got the perfect yearbook picture and you can do three things with it: share it over Facebook, Save, or Share it. I facebooked mine and it was super easy – you just login and then click upload to Facebook and it creates a photo album there for you. To share it fill in your name, your e-mail address, and then e-mail addresses of those people you want to share it with. Save opens up a prompt so you can save the image to your computer.
You can also have fun in the Student Life section where you can put your face on those group photos you’d find in a yearbook. It works the same way as the other section. You can adjust your face, and then choose how you want to share or save the file.
This was so much fun, I laughed so hard at my dorky self! I hope you’ll get as much of a kick out of it as I did!
That’s pretty neat! Get in the books, then rate or add to this tip here!
