Did you know that while you’re busy watching the latest movie trailer for The Avengers, YouTube is calmly collecting information on how fast your Internet connection is?
It’s Google – what did you expect? But the good news is that you can actually check and see all the info they’ve aggregated by going to: http://www.youtube.com/my_speed [1] (you may have to log in first).
…you can even read a helpful FAQ [2]to see how they go about doing it.
So next time you’re YouTubing, check your speed and see how you stack up with the rest of the world.
